Volunteer

Youth for Christ Columbus, Inc. has volunteers that baby sit, bake cookies, make meals, drive vans, chaperone, drive the bus, answer phone, fold and address newsletters, fundraising, take pictures, decorate, clean the office, paint walls, and hold garage sales. There are volunteers that donate time from one hour a month to 24/7! Mentors to Teen Moms and Young Dads, mentors to middle school aged youth, and parents that offer their homes to homeless youth and babies are making a difference in the lives of children in our area. Loving adult moms offer temporary shelter for newborns that may be relinquished for adoption. Others take in a teen mom and her baby, while a select few have offered guardianships, foster care and a home to those little ones in need. There are leaders, teachers and advocates, Bible Study teachers, prayer warriors and donors that are all willing to support the work with kids. What are your gifts? Are you willing to impact a life by using those gifts? Do you love the Lord? Do you love kids? You could be developing a relationship with a child that could be one of the most fulfilling experiences of your life!

During the last year, Youth for Christ Columbus had 100 volunteers that donated 2,931 hours of their time to impact the life of a child!
